We Built This Around Going To The Truck
No shop, no service writer, no waiting room. A phone number a person answers and a stocked service truck that shows up.
Why This Service Exists
A truck stopped on the shoulder of I-4 at Exit 32 does not need a shop twenty miles away with a three-day backlog. It needs a diesel technician with the right parts pulling up behind it.
That is the entire idea. Polk County generates an enormous amount of heavy truck traffic — Publix distributing out of Lakeland, Amazon on County Line Road, Saddle Creek, Rooms To Go, the Walmart DC in Winter Haven, the CSX intermodal terminal, the Davenport fulfillment campuses, phosphate hauling around Mulberry and Bartow, agricultural freight through Plant City and the Ridge. Trucks that work break. And when they break, the traditional model — tow it somewhere, wait your turn, hope — costs far more than the repair itself.
So we do it the other way around. The shop comes to the truck.
How We Work
A person, not a phone tree
No menus, no callback form, no bot. The overnight hours are when a lot of Polk County freight actually moves, so those are hours we take calls. If we cannot pick up the moment you ring, leave your location and you get a callback straight away.
Honest ETAs, including bad ones
You get a real arrival window on the first call, not "soon." If we are further out than you can wait, we tell you immediately so you can call someone else instead of losing an hour finding out.
A price before the wrench
The service call rate on the phone. The full repair estimate on site. Nothing gets performed that you did not approve, and there are no invoice surprises.
The truth about what we cannot do
Some repairs need a lift, a press or a full teardown. When that is the case we say so early — sometimes on the phone before we dispatch, which saves you the service call entirely.
What We Know About These Roads
Local knowledge is not marketing here, it is operational. Knowing that Exit 44 has room to work and Exit 38 currently does not, because SR 33 is in the middle of a rebuild running into 2029. Knowing that the Polk Parkway went all-electronic in 2022 and a lot of owner-operators avoid it. Knowing which shoulders on US 92 are wide enough to jack a loaded trailer and which are sand under two inches of pavement.
And knowing what actually breaks here, which is genuinely different from other markets. Florida kills batteries with heat, not cold. Short DC-to-DC shuttle runs plug particulate filters because the truck never gets hot enough long enough to regen passively. Cooling systems that would live forever in a mild climate give up in a Polk County July. Constant gate queuing wears air systems in ways over-the-road mileage does not predict.
That is the knowledge that gets a truck fixed on the first visit instead of the second.

Equipment We Service
Freightliner, Volvo, Mack, Peterbilt, Kenworth, International and Western Star tractors, plus box trucks, straight trucks, reefer chassis, yard spotters, dry vans, flatbeds, dumps, roll-offs, transfer trailers, lowboys and heavy equipment. Engine coverage spans Cummins, Detroit, Paccar, Volvo, Mack and International — including the aftertreatment and emissions systems attached to all of them, which is where a large share of modern breakdowns originate.
What We Will Not Do
Worth stating plainly, because it defines the service as much as the capability list does:
- We do not delete emissions systems. It is a federal violation, it destroys the truck's resale value and it fails inspection. Anyone offering it is handing you a bigger problem than the one you called about.
- We do not tow. Deliberately. A company that makes its money towing has an incentive to conclude your truck needs towing. We will help you arrange one when you genuinely need it.
- We do not perform work you did not approve. Ever.
- We do not take a job we cannot do. If it belongs in a shop, you hear that instead of a three-hour billable discovery process.
A note on where we are
We are a mobile-only operation. There is no walk-in address to visit and no counter to stand at — the service truck is the shop. We serve Lakeland, Polk County and the I-4 corridor roughly between Exit 17 in Plant City and Exit 58 at ChampionsGate, plus SR 60, US 27, US 92 and US 98 across the county.
