Terms of Service

Last updated 2026.

Note for the site owner: this is a plain-language starting point, not legal advice. Have it reviewed by a Florida attorney before launch, and adjust the warranty, liability and payment sections to match how the business actually operates.

1. Who these terms cover

These terms apply to the website at mobiledieselrepairlakeland.com and to mobile repair services provided by Mobile Diesel Repair Lakeland ("we," "us," "our") to customers ("you"). By requesting service or using this site, you agree to them.

2. What we do

We provide mobile diesel and heavy truck repair services at the customer's location throughout Lakeland, Polk County and the I-4 corridor in Florida. We operate as a mobile service and do not maintain a walk-in repair facility.

3. Service requests and dispatch

Arrival times quoted by phone are good-faith estimates based on current conditions, traffic and workload. They are not guarantees. Traffic incidents, weather, and emergency reprioritization can change an estimate, and we will tell you when that happens.

We reserve the right to decline or reprioritize a service call, including where a location is unsafe to work in, where the required repair is outside our scope, or where conditions make the work unsafe for our technician.

4. Estimates, authorization and pricing

Service is billed as a service call fee plus labor, with a labor minimum applied to mobile calls, plus parts. After-hours, weekend and holiday work may carry a premium rate. You will be told the service call rate before a technician is dispatched.

A repair estimate is provided on site after assessment. No repair work is performed without your authorization of that estimate. If additional problems are found during the work, we will stop and obtain your approval before proceeding.

If you decline the repair after diagnosis, the service call and diagnostic time remain payable.

5. Payment

Payment is due on completion unless other terms have been agreed in advance in writing. Fleet and account customers may be invoiced under separately agreed terms.

6. Parts and warranty

Parts we supply carry the manufacturer's warranty, where one applies. Labor is warranted against defects in workmanship for a period stated on your invoice. Warranty does not cover customer-supplied parts, damage caused by continued operation of a vehicle after a fault was identified, pre-existing conditions, or unrelated failures.

Where a repair is a temporary measure to make a vehicle safely movable rather than a permanent fix, that will be stated at the time and is not warranted as a permanent repair.

7. Scope limitations

Some repairs cannot be safely or properly performed outside a shop environment — including but not limited to clutch, transmission and differential work, in-frame engine repair, frame and structural work, alignment, and any repair requiring a lift or press. We will tell you when your repair falls into that category.

We do not remove, disable, defeat or tamper with emissions control equipment. Such modifications violate federal law and we will not perform them under any circumstances.

8. Roadside safety

Roadside repair carries inherent risk. Our technician has final authority on whether a location is safe to work in and may require a vehicle to be relocated before work begins. If you are disabled in a travel lane or another hazardous position, contact emergency services (911) before contacting us.

You are responsible for ensuring that the vehicle is properly secured, that any raised body or load is stable, and that persons in your control remain clear of the work area.

9. Customer responsibilities

  • Providing accurate location, vehicle and symptom information
  • Having authority to authorize repairs, or providing contact details for the person who does
  • Disclosing site access requirements, including gate procedures and PPE rules
  • Disclosing hazardous or temperature-sensitive loads
  • Providing safe access to the vehicle

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Florida law, our liability arising from services provided is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost revenue, missed appointments, detention charges, spoiled freight, towing costs or downtime.

11. Website content

Information on this website, including guides and technical articles, is provided for general information only. It is not a substitute for a professional diagnosis of your specific vehicle. Do not rely on it to determine whether a vehicle is safe to operate.

Highway, exit, facility and route information is provided as a convenience and may become outdated as roads and businesses change. Verify current conditions independently.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version in effect at the time you request service is the one that applies to that service.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any dispute will be brought in the courts of Polk County, Florida.
